On January 23, 2017, police officials from Sub-Division 6 and Inspection Units of Natural Resources and Environmental Crime Division (NRECD) succeeded in arresting a suspect whose residence is located in Khlong Ya Sub-district, Ao Luek District, Krabi Province. The arrest succeeded at Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province in seizing 7 falcons. The crime is a violation of Article number 19 and Article number 20 of the Wild Animal Reservation and Protection Act. B.E. 2535 (1992). The case was then sent to Investigation Officials at Hat Yai Police Station for further legal actions.
